New Smyrna Athletic Club staff, instructors, trainers, and massage therapists all want to wish you a Happy & Healthy New Year and truly hope you have wonderful holidays - for all our members, future members and past members. January is a very busy time here at the gym and we appreciate your understanding while others are working towards their goals in the New Year. As far as parking is concerned, we experience congestion during class change over times, so if your schedule allows you the opportunity, it’s best to work out between 11:15am-3:30pm, or anytime after 7pm during the week. Parking is also available on Canal St or on any of the sides streets around the gym.
For those that attend our classes, this is a very important reminder that during the winter months classes fill up, and they fill up fast. Members are able to sign up for class 48 hours ahead of time by going to MyiClubOnline.com- if a class is full there is an option to be put on the Waitlist which will automatically NOTIFY BY EMAIL you if there is a spot that has opened up. You are still responsible to enroll in that open space, even if you are on the waitlist. If you see a space open up in a class and you are NOT on the waitlist, you cannot sign up for that class, so if you see a waitlist opportunity - place yourself on it. All spots are available on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee you a space in a class if you attempt to walk in on the day of class, especially during the busy time of year. Calling and leaving a voicemail to be signed up for class also does not guarantee a place in that class, as our voicemail is only checked during business hours and all spaces in those classes could have been taken by members signing up online. Non-members and/or guests have to inquire no sooner than 30 minutes before a class is to start if there are any spaces available.
For your new year wellness needs, keep in mind we have a full staff of Massage Therapists and Certified Personal Trainers at New Smyrna Athletic Club so if you’re looking to take care of those sore muscles or jump start your workouts this year, you can speak to anyone at the front desk and they’ll point you in the right direction.
